Fifth repertoire performed by the Antonio Caraveo Project, where eight themes inspired by great works of universal literature. Despite the new information technologies, very comparable to the extreme revoution of the Gutenberg printing press more than 5 centuries ago, we can not deny the Enormous wealth of ideas and expressions that literature has given to the humanity, that's why this dedication.
For this project "Blue Tea", we have the participation of: Bruno Cruz Petit on soprano saxophone, Angel Jungla in flamenco cajón, Jordan Sánchez on acoustic guitar. Antonio Caraveo on electric upright bass, composition and arrangement.
THEMES OF "BLUE TEA"
1. Blue Tea (Bolero) Prepare a tea, go to a place that will make us travel to another place without moving so are the books.
2. The Insula of Sancho Panza (Waltz)
Dedicated to the character of Sancho Panza, inseparable and counterpart in the madness of Don Quixote, one of the most read works of universal literature.
3. The Garden of Sherezada (Rumba)
Sherezada and the thousand and one nights, the richness in the diverse txtos of literature Ancient Middle Eastern.
4. The Book of Sand (TangoFusion)
Dedicated to Jorge Luis Borges
5. Cronopios (Swing)
Dedicated to Julio Cortázar.
6.6. Helena (Waltz)
A love lost and found, like so many of so many stories.
7. A Scrooge Tale
Inspired by the innovation of the mambo created by the Cuban musician Damaso Pérez Prado and who impacted the music scene of Mexico in the mid-twentieth century.
8.The Blues of the Queen of Hearts (Swing)
Inspired by Chales Dickens' 1843 book Inspired by the children's literature of Alice in Wonderland.
