Drummer originally from Mexico City, he
studied at the National School of Music of the UNAM, in the
area of percussion, having as teachers Alfredo Bringas and
Julio Vigueras. Later he resumed his drum studies in New York
City at the Drummers Collective School of Music, tutored by
Pat Petrillo, Fred Klatz, Peter Retzlaff and Ian Froman.
During his stay in New York he shared the stage with Lincoln
Goines, Bob Quaranta, Christian Mendoza, Kim Plainfield, among
others. In addition to taking various drum clinics among which
the Mexican Antonio Sánchez, Dom Fomularo, Phil Maturano and
Marko Djordjevic stand out..
In Mexico, among his collaborations as a drummer are Jingles
for tv and radio, musical theater plays. He has been a session
drummer for Pino Lucciano, Yuridia, Ninel Conde, Angélica
María, Los Belmonts, Steffie Beltt, among others.
In the jazz scene he has participated as a drummer in the jazz
ensemble Factoria 360 ° (Miguel Hidalgo 2014 mayor's office
project), an ensemble of the jazz workshop of the UNAM School
of Music with Professor Remy Álvarez, Big Band of the DIM
Music School with Joe D'Ettiene, Percussion Orchestra
"Percutoris" of the Faculty of Music UNAM. He has shared the
stage with musicians such as Amanda Tovalín, Marcos Milagres,
Max Bollati, Erick Alfaro, among others.
